Cacao Mood Boosting Smoothie Recipe
Prep: 5 mins | Serves: 2
- 1 Young Coconut (water + flesh)
- 1 Tbsp. Cacao Powder
- 1 tsp Maca Powder
- 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 large Frozen Banana
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup cold water (optional)
- 1 tsp LSA (per serve to garnish)
To open a young coconut, if you have not done so before, watch a few youtube video’s. They are very easy to follow & more helpful then me writing a list of instructions 🙂
If the flesh is very thick only use half and if your coconut did not yield enough liquid (want minimum 250-350ml) add additional coconut water or filtered water to make up the volume.
Place all ingredients except for the LAS into the blender and blitz until smooth.
Serve in your favourite glass and garnish with the LSA sprinkles.
